Geocache Description:

You are searching for a camo painted plastic ammo can hidden partially out of sight. This hiking area is open from dawn to dusk. Bicycles are permitted on most trails; mountain bike accessible, depending on your skill level. Take water on this hike and dress appropriately.

The cache is located on the Cox Canyon TRAIL in Miller Springs Nature Center. There are numerous trails in the area and this is a great place for hiking. The terrain varies throughout the area. The trails can be a little confusing, at least to me, so be sure to take the coords where you park your vehicle. After you turn onto the Cox Canyon trail you will go by the Cox Craggy Course geocache. At some point you may want to hike up to the cliffs above and follow the cliff trail until you get near GZ for this cache. The cache is hidden a little ways down from the cliff on the lower side of a bunch of large boulders. The coords may not be dead on due to the tree cover and the canyon walls. But you are looking for an ammo can, so it should not be too difficult to spot. Be careful hiking along the cliff trail - loose dirt and rocks.
