sdavies41: I have moved a little too far away to readily maintain this geocache conveniently. It saddens me to archive this, but I just don't have the heart to re-engineer the hide for the nth time and lose yet more resources. This should free up the area for someone else to place a hide and hopefully have better luck than me next time around.

Geocache Description:

A simple micro cache on the edge of the copse. You will have to bring a pen or pencil as there is no room for one. The area can be a bit muddy in winter and is very popular with dog walkers. Lots of little trails to follow.

Pearman's Copse is a small area of ancient woodland, in Lower Earley, covering 2 hectares. It contains ash, hazel, and oak trees. It contains many classic archaeological features, such as boundary banks and ditches.

Pearman's copse is designated a nature reserve.
