Small clear plastice waterproof container. Located at the backdoor of the Lamma Power station. This track is not suitable for stollers but a common place for locals to walk their dogs, so watch out for little doggy landmines (the non-exploding type) thathave been left on the road. Road is an all weather soil retention type road. Easy to walk.
The lamma power plant is one of the biggest controversies still commonly talked about by lamma residents. Beautiful natural island that has a large power plant cut into the side of a mountain. Just ask any local on the island what they think about the power plant and they will talk to you for hours about thier views on it.
Lamma Power Station (Chinese: 南丫發電廠), informally known as Lamma Island Power Station, is a coal-fired power station in Po Lo Tsui, Lamma Island,Islands District, Hong Kong, China. With the installed capacity of 3,736 MW, the power station is the second largest coal-fired power station after Castle Peak Power Station.
Built in 1982 (with several later additions) for Hongkong Electric, the station provides power to Hong Kong Island and Lamma Island. By mid-2006, the total installed capacity of the power station was 3,736 MW.
