KATnDOGZ: It was reported back in March that this area was slated for some clear cutting, so I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. I didn't place this one, but adopted this stretch of caches. This one won't be replaced as ground zero is no longer.

Geocache Description:

Realizing how close I was to the border, I decided to try to place a cache as close as possible to the state line. All of my collected data suggests I'm within 10'. Retrieving this cache will require a bushwhack. In November the terrain was about a 2-2.5. I imagine that in July, it'd be closer to a 3.5-4. The T3 rating splits the difference.

It's easy to get turned around out here. Please use the waypoint provided as a reference to get back to the trail.

The Nichols Farm Management Area is very popular with hunters. You are advised to follow all DEM regulations regarding the wearing of blaze orange during hunting season. Details on this requirement can be found here.
