We're frequent hikers in the park and walk our dogs here all the time. They love to crash around in the bush and we love to have them exhausted!! We placed a memorial cache in the area for "Our Sweet Chloe" and thought our other dog needed a cache of her own (Don't forget your Jacket, You might get Chili). Now there is another new pup and she can't be left out. She's a chocolate lab, hence the cache name! Cache is a small camo lock n lock.
This cache location is within sight of a couple the main trails (there are several in the area), a little higher up in the Crawford network but still an easily manageable hike from the Stewart R. parking lot. Sone bushwacking is required (last 100m or so). Initial cache contents include some swag that the kids might like if you can talk them into the hike. They are a mini tape measure, a padlock, a couple of erasers, a princess pen, some salmon info cards and a ring. We have also started the last of our trackables on their way.
