Geocache Description:

Given the rare 4.5 / 3.5 ranking for stealth and retrieval AND for those trying to complete the difficulty/terrain grid.

Aztec Park is home to the Desert Foothills Little League and TeamStew's second home each spring. This cache commemorates one of our favorite moments here from 2013:

It was the bottom of the 6th with 2 outs and bases loaded as we were trailing by 2 against our arch rivals. As Zack came up to bat, his nerves grew as he faced one of the most feared pitchers in the league: a big, strong kid who happened to be a good friend of ours! After the first 2 strikes went by, Zack took a deep breathe and thought to himself, "Line drive in the gap." Then as the next pitch came in high heat, he seized the moment and gave a swing....back, back, back, deep over the center field fence that ended the game with a WALK-OFF GRAND SLAM! And as they say, the crowd went wild!!!

- If you bring your dog, please don't let it "do" on our field. After all, we don't play in your yard. - If you're caching "in season" feel free to stay and watch an inning or two. You're likely to catch TeamStew nearby. - Finally, beware of muggles in this high traffic area and kudos to anyone who retrieves this cache during the months of July or August!
