We took 36 pictures on our walk down Main Street in Magna. It was very hard to pick and choose, we finally got it down to 18 images. Starting at the east end of Main Street at 8400 West, you need to find the images in order going west. It is about 1.3 miles to the last photo. Many you could find with some computer time on a street viewer, but a couple will be pretty difficult to spot that way. It was a nice walk, and you’ll probably see lots of other fun things we could have included pictures of! (Like the 18 we had to leave out!!) The pictures are not necessarily to scale as viewed from the sidewalk, and can be found on both sides of Main Street.
Assign each picture letters A through R, as you find them from east to west, then assign each letter the number value for that picture. So, if the first picture is farthest east, A would equal 35. If the second picture is farthest east, A would equal 77.
Suggestion: Use the take-long sheet and note the address on each photo then assign the letters after finding all the photos. Sheet can be found in the image gallery and printed. Use the Print Preview option in your browser to size the image before printing. The sheet has been updated as of 7/15/2017.

#13 = 72. This pretty little glass arch was on a business on the south side of the street, but is now gone. This should be assigned letter C.

BYU TV’s series “Granite Flats” used several locations in Magna during filming of this fun show set in the 1960s. The sign is no longer on the building but it should still be easy to identify. Secondary photo added (Sep 2019).
