When Ferris Bueller takes a day off school, so do his friends Sloane and CAMERON! And like Cameron, this cache would just as soon stay in 'bed' then to head out with Ferris...but you know the outcome of that. So when you head out to Ferris Park in Ballwin, MO, hunt for two Crappy Series caches, "Bueller?....Bueller?," a cache by Viszladad, and this cache. It's located in the sparsely wooded area at the farthest extent of the park. (This is a 'replacement' from my archived version 1 of the same name which was at a nearby location, but for some reason the first one was difficult to locate and I was tired of DNFs and then finding it in place.) THE GPS signals bounce around terribly out here, so let it settle, use caching sense and search expanded area. Likely spot can be found based on the hint, if you choose to reveal it). You can access the trail from the end of the playground or from beneath the shelter and also from the far SE corner of the park beyond the loop path at the end of the fenceline. Happy hunting.
Summer of 2014, a new, wonderful playground was built in the front of the park. Spring 2021, construction on a new upper parking lot, loop pathway and fitness unit were completed. The 'soccer' field is now within the loop path and the old pavillion is still present near the new parking lot. A little clearing and trail work has been done in the wooded sections of the park too.
