This is a nano at a wide view near the summit of South Doublehead. Uphill side of spruce, about 5 feet up, about 1 foot from tip of branch.
You can hike a loop with a short section along Dundee Road. Parking is just off Dundee Rd. on Doublehead Drive. The only easy trail is the ski trail. There are very steep sections on both the Old Path and the New Path (making a less than 4 mile loop feel longer). Hiking sticks are helpful. Don't forget, there is a short spur off of New Path that goes to the summit of South Doublehead.
