Geocache Description:

This geocache serves as a replacement for the now removed B&F Flamingos and Sandbars.

Park your cachemobile at the end of Melkbos Close and follow the trail. You will be led to a fenceless gate, where you can pass and head to the cache location. Before you lies what is one of the best views of this magnificent and vital body of water. Over to your left is Oestewal Farm, and just behind that lies the Seeberg Bird Hide inside the West Coast National Park. At the time of hiding this cache several Curlews and Whimbrels (and a raft of other remarkable waders) have been spotted in the vicinty of this hide. The park itself provides shelter to many other critters.

The cache is hidden approximately 2,5 metres beyond the stone wall. Kindly re-hide as found and please trade fairly.

The site features a picnic table (of sorts ...). The cache site can be reached by trail and some minor rock-hopping: please stay well clear of any vegetation (if you knew what lived there you would too surprise)

We hope you enjoy the outing. B&F (still a-cachin')
