In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, we have decided to place a few caches around the area. Each location was carefully selected to offer the best tribute to some of our favorite characters. Hopefully as time goes on, and we become more familiar with the area, we'll add more caches to the list. Please feel free to leave your favorite moments from the show in your log. If you've never watched the show, that's ok, too. Ultimately we just want you to have as much fun finding this series, as we did hiding it.
When Doctor Who was relaunched in 2005, Christopher Eccleston was cast as the Ninth Doctor. Dressed in a black leather jacket, his bad boy image seemingly a reflection of the many painful moments of his past. The Doctor meets, Rose and the two set off to save the world and have some fun. The Ninth Doctor and Rose are often joined by Rose's boyfriend Mickey and Captain Jack Harkness. The Doctor and Jack are in the throes of a Dalek invasion, when the Doctor uses the TARDIS to send Rose back home to her family and safety. Rose finds a way to see into the heart of the TARDIS and make her way back to her Doctor. In doing so, Rose endangers herself and the Doctor sacrifices himself to save her. His last words to Rose before regenerating are "Rose, before I go, I just want to tell you, you were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And you know what? So was I."
