Arena Manawatu consists of 33 indoor and outdoor venues on an 18 hectare site right in the heart of the city, as everyone knows when the Speedway Championships are on. As well as being home to the Robertson Holden International Speedway, they are also the base for the Manawatu Turbos (rugby), the Manawatu Jets (basketball) and the annual Red Cross book sale.
They host 2500 or 8000 events every year (depending on which part of PNCC's web site you are reading), for 36 sporting codes, weddings, conventions and trade shows, and even the occasional symphonia concert.
And, at long last, geocaching has been included. Yay!
