Geocache Description:

Fourth in a series of caches along Loddon Shire's boundary.

Here, just east of Mitiamo on the Echuca-Mitiamo Road, you exit Loddon Shire for Campaspe Shire. The boundary is the Mt Hope Creek, formed by the confluence of the Bendigo and Myers Creeks just to the south. The creek empties into Kow Swamp near Leitchville. You are in cropping and grazing country here. The nearby small township of Mitiamo has a store and swimming pool. Terrick Terrick National Park is an important habitat for the plains wanderer in its grassland section. The Terricks are low-lying granite outcrops.

Leave the road south-east of the bridge to find a quiet parking area by the creek. It's a very pretty spot.
