Any time I'm out hiking, I'm usually looking for "the path less travelled by". Paths that have been lightly trodden, leading off to who knows where, have always interested me. And it usually doesn't take much of a nudge for me to head down those lightly trodden trails to see where they will lead me.
How many times have I found a hidden gem or even just an interesting short cut? There's really no telling. Rarely though is the effort wasted. A hidden pond, a forest glade, an interesting outcrop of rock or even an unexpected viewpoint. All these things can be found along the path less travelled by.
In that spirit, I offer up this puzzle. Perhaps you will find it to be a diversion from the routine of a common day. And, like travelling along a lightly trodden path, it may show you something that you did not expect. Don't worry if nothing jumps out at you at first. Perhaps you need to stop, take a good look around and see if you've overlooked something hidden away.
