Tamenobu Tsugaru, the first local lord of Mutsu-Hirosaki Domain, began to build Hirosaki Castle in 1603. And in 1611 the castle was almost completed. Its’ another name is Takaoka Castle. The castle tower was lost by fire caused by thunderbolt in 1627. In 1810, the existing tower was built by Yasuchika Tsugaru, the ninth local lord. You can enjoy to see full bloom of cherry blossom in spring, and beautiful autumn leaves in autumn. Please bring your pen.
弘前城は１６０３年に陸奥弘前藩初代藩主の津軽為信が築城を開始し、１６１１年にほぼ完成しました。別名鷹岡城（高岡城）とも呼ばれます。１６２７年に落雷により天守は消失しました。１８１０年津軽寧親（やすちか）によって現存の天守が作られました。春は桜、秋は紅葉が見事で多くの観光客が訪れる観光スポットになっています。筆記具を持参ください。
