The Paps Scenic Reserve is a public reserve that is accessible via private land so make sure you closed the gates.
The Paps can be conquered by 4x4, 4x2, trail bike, mountain bike, walking, horse riding, parachuting and probably several other forms of transport although most probably by car. The track up does vary in difficulty at various times of the year, in dry weather it is possible to get up the track in a normal road car with good ground clearance, you need to be the judge on the day.
The views from all the Paps over the surrounding landscape is one not to be missed, early morning in winter sees blankets of fog as far as the eye can see and evenings in the summer with wine and cheese watching the sunset, magnificent.
