The Devils River Series is a developing series of caches along the Delatite River. Originally named Devils River, the Delatite River headwaters start between Mount Buller and Mount Sterling and it empties into Lake Eildon. With many good spots for fishing there is also good kayaking in the spring and swimming holes in the summer.
Hearns Lane is one of the many crossing points of the river as it winds through the valley. A good spot for fishing but a picnic is also a possibility.
The cache is tubular and slightly larger than an eclipse and contains a pen and log book.
