Geocache Description:

Am 10. Januar 2004 wurde südlich von Sydney in Australien der erste EarthCache von Geoaware und seinen beiden Töchtern "gelegt". Der Cache Earthcache I - a simple geology tour of Wasp Head wurde erst 2 Wochen später von Tankengine mit folgenden Zeilen geloggt :

"Chooo ooo *FTF* The family wanted to go to the beach today, and I thought that was a great idea! They had fun in the sand, and I went off to do the cache. It was great! Just a like exploring around the rock pools, but with a geology lesson thrown in! I’ve seen similar formations in the past, and often wondered how the heck they got to be like that, but here all was explained! Fantastic! The only minor difficulty was the initial access from the beach to the rocks, but after that it was easy going. (I think it was high tide). Excellent cache thanks geoaware – now I’m looking forward to more…"

Diesen 10jährigen Geburtstag wollen wir gerne mit Euch feiern !

Wir treffen uns am
Freitag, den 10. Januar 2014 um 18.30 Uhr
an den angegebenen Koordinaten ("Frau Holle"-Parkplatz)

Die Teilnehmerzahl ist aufgrund der begrenzten Parkmöglichkeiten auf 50 beschränkt, meldet Euch also bitte mit der Anzahl der Teilnehmer an ! (aus der Beschränkung ergibt sich die D-Wertung)

Und das solltet ihr für dieses Outdoor-Event alles mitbringen :
  • Interesse an EarthCaches
  • warme Kleidung
  • "Special-Tool" Taschenlampe
  • Fotos und/oder Geschichten von euren schönsten EarthCaches
  • warme Getränke, kleine Snacks
Es wäre schön, wenn wir mit unseren und euren warmen Getränken (Glühwein ?) und Snacks nach unserem Programm (welches noch geheim bleibt) noch gemütlich (so sehr es denn das Wetter zulässt) zusammen stehen und uns über eure schönsten EarthCaches austauschen könnten.
