The old village of Breda was moved to a location outside the new walls of the demesne (at Belvoir) of Arthur-Hill Trevor, 1st Viscount Dungannon, in the 18th century to create the village of New Town Breda. The current Newtownbreda area lies to the south of Belfast, west of the Saintfield Road and extends to include Belvoir, Galwally and Knockbreda Parish. I won’t give any more history than that, you should be able to learn a lot more local history in the course of your caching experience.
The cache is not at the published co-ordinates. Instead these will take you to an information sign, from this you must obtain most of the information to work out the final co-ordinates. Further information will have to be gleaned at stages 2 and 3.

The cache is a small tablock box large enough for Geocoins and small travel bugs, intially containing a logbook, a pencil and a Geocoin. Please replace it as you find it. Parking is available close to stages 1, 2 & 3, best to park near stage 2/3 if the library is open. All the stages are stroller accessible.
