Geocache Description:

Built in 1908 as a racecourse by the railroad mogul and financier William Vanderbilt. It was one of the first concrete roads in the nation, the first highway to use bridges. The Parkway’s history is filled with intrigue: race cars, bootlegging, and public controversy. The original roadway winded through Bethpage Park, Battle Row Park, the Village Restoration and through the present site of Hilton Hotel and on through the Maxess Road bridge abutments

Directions: Park in the lot behind an office building on the east side of Route 110. (Opposite Hotel)

Cache is a camo bison tube. This my very first cache that I placed, so don't laugh!

Area may get a bit overgrown in summer but it's not too far from parking lot.
