This Wherigo will take you on a short tour of Arkansas Tech. You will need to download the Wherigo cartridge: "A Tech Wherigo Tour" from "www.wherigo.com/cartridge" to your smart phone or Wherigo enabled GPS. The starting coordinates will take you to visitor parking. If those spots are full, there is additional parking in front of Rothwell @ N35 17.650 W093 08.033. It is important that you only park in visitor parking or you risk a ticket. The color coded hangtag parking lots are assigned to faculty, staff, and students.
Our Tour will allow you to park at stage one and walk through stage 6. We then suggest you return to your vehicle and drive to stage 7 and the final at stage 8. We estimate that you can do this Wherigo in under an hour while following mostly sidewalks on fairly level terrain. You will be asked questions at each stage that you must answer in order to continue the tour. When Sherlock Holmes appears on your screen you might need to scroll down to see the question.
The hint for the micro cache container will appear when you reach the final zone. After you find the container, you will receive a code that will allow you to unlock the cartridge on Wherigo.com Only use the first 15 digits of that number. There are often a lot of muggles near GZ for the final container, so please use stealth so the container does not go missing.
This is our first Wherigo so we are open to suggestions to improve it. This cartridge was tested on 2 I-phones with no issues. If you receive the message that you are "Inside The Zone", but do not receive an action or message, simply walk out of the zone and re-enter or exit and resume the cartridge on your device. We have had this happen while doing a few Wherigo cartridges before and it usually clears up with the above suggestions.
