Feel like having a nice stroll to clear the New Years Eve hangover or just getting some fresh air? Then come along and be a winner at the top of Win Hill on New Year’s Day. The event will start at 2:00pm and finish at 2:30pm with hopefully some good geochat and views from Hope to Howden.
Since I discovered caching I've always gone caching on New Year's Day; my first cache was 1st January 2010. This will be the beginning of the 5th year of my geocaching odyssey.
There is car parking in Hope and a normal train service running from Sheffield to Hope for anyone needing public transport.
Obviously with the time of year and location please come prepared with warm clothes, stout walking boots, waterproofs, food and drink (hot will probably be best). I know people may have worries over the weather so am happy if will attends logs say weather dependant.
