Geocache Description:

From your approach of Emma's wild one, this Cache is located inside the collection of miniture Birch Trees. Be wary after the rains, the spings are rarther deep inside. If you get disorientated In mist, head to 'Emma's wild one' at the top of Cwm Llysiog and then head South to good track some 400 yards away which will take you back towards the direction of the A470.

This Cache has been placed with the kind permission of the HAQ (Honourable Artillery Company). The Cache Location is a haven for sheltering animals, a small collection of Silver Birch Trees at the very top of the valley. The area is known as Ffynnon Llysiog. Ffynnon meaning Spring or Well/fountain, more likely to be Spring, Llysiog is a difficult one, you'd think along the lines of 'The Court of iog' but in surveys it is thought to have a relation to Windberries that grow up here. The Jury is out on that one. The area is very sensitive so go carefully inside of the Nano-woodland. Inside the Cache is a logbook
