Geocache Description:

A quick cache and dash near St Catherine's Church, Blackwell.

St. Catherine's Church, a chapel of ease of Holy Trinity, The Lickey, was built on a site in Blackwell given by Lord Windsor. It was a temporary, wooden building, built by J. Collett of Balsall Heath and was consecrated and opened in 1882. This building was replaced in 1941 by a new church in a Norwegian style designed by Herbert North of Llanfairfechan.
