Geocache Description:

This area can be muggle saturated at times.  Be discreet as you are probably being 'eyeballed'.  Please recover as found and TURN OFF THE 'LIGHT' WHEN LEAVING.......

Officially named San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church, this beautiful building is one of the finest surviving examples of Bishop Lamy's French inspired Gothic architecture in New Mexico.  This was completed in 1906 and is constructed of locally quarried stone instead of the traditional adobe.

Among its adornments is a painting of Nuestra Senora de Los Angeles given to the Pecos Pueblo by the King of Spain in the 1700's.

This cache is dedicated to those buried in this cemetery who helped establish this Pecos community.  We solicit your volunteer support as a cacher to place a "Spirit" cache at or near a cemetery of your choosing.
