This cache is part of a series that I intend to have scattered around the Spartanburg area. This series will take you to places around Spartanburg that many folks go to grab a bite to eat. Who knows, you may find a new place to get your eat on.
This particular Good Eats has been on the books for a while, but for one reason or another I never got around to getting it out. Back when I first started the Good Eats series I asked on the USCGA forums for some ideas of places, and oneczyrandy suggested the nearby establishment. Well, finally after a couple of years, this place is on the list. Sorry it took so long, oneczyrandy. Hope you enjoy it.
The nearby establishment opened its doors in January 2003, and has been a favorite stop for lunch for many people around Spartanburg, including my buddy, oneczyrandy. This unique place offers a variety of Mexican dishes combined with an American Grille menu, all wrapped in a southwestern style atmosphere. So Mexican or American, you are sure to find something to enjoy at this Good Eats stop.
The cache you seek is a small round coin holder like what you would see around someone's neck at the beach. It is at a busy location so pay attention at you approach and exit ground zero. The best approach to the cache is from the back where the sidewalk is. You can enter there and not have too much trouble with being spotted by muggles. Take care when looking so as not to draw too much attention to the cache hiding spot.
