Geocache Description:

This is the fifth milestone in a series dedicated to the old milestones along Main Road between Simonstown and Cape Town.  Traditionally all milestones measured the distance to the Old Townhouse which stood on what is known as Greenmarket Square today.

This is a well preserved milestone with a little barrier around it.  It measures 13 miles from the Old Townhouse.  Hopefully the journey from cache to cache is bringing you along Main Road which, for hundreds of years, was the artery for traffic between Simonstown and Cape Town. The cache is a nano located on site.   Please use stealth and replace the nano as you find it. As the GZ is at a busy intersection please use the off street parking at the waypoint provided.  It is only a short walk away.
