Monastry Zoodochos Pigi Agia Moni (Well of the gift of life) was founded in 1149. Nons still live there occupying themselves with weaving and taking care of a beautiful citrus yard. Outside the Monastry there is a well from which the people from Nafplio take the fresh water. It is said that the godess Hera came every year to take a bath in order to get her virginity back.
When you drive from the centre of Nafplio in the direction Epidaurus you find before the village Aria a sign Agia Moni at your right side. Turn right and follow the road till the Monastry at the dead end. You cannot miss it as there are more signs to tell you where to go.
The cache is a round plastic container with log and welcome letter, but no pen. You find the cache down the part of the garden where the well is near the end of the stone wall.
