Geocache Description:

When I was a boy, you could sneak through the fence and ride your bike on the roof or fly a kite, away from all the wires that lace the Sunset. The reservoirs have been seismically upgraded lest an earthquake cause a mad torrent of water to rush through the neighborhood below. Taking advantage of the open space, hundreds of solar panels now provide energy to the city. The Sunset Reservoir Solar Project is believed to be the largest solar PV system in California, and the largest municipal installation in the country.

Unfortunately, due to the security issues of the times we live in and the potential dangers and delicate nature of the panels, it is now off limits to the public. We can only gaze though the fence.

There is no need to trespass. You can see the transformers nearby, but stay outside the perimeter.

Congrats to deadley for FTF!
