A circular walk between through the Essex countryside of just over 7 miles from Bocking to Stisted and back or vice versa. There are 25 traditional caches on the circuit of varying sizes for you to look for. There are eating and drinking establishments in both Bocking and Stisted for half way refreshments. Walking is relatively easy, with a few stiles. Some sections are quite muddy in winter. You will need to cross the busy A130 twice on the walk, so please be careful.
Directions given are based on walking in an anti-clockwise direction around the circuit. You can of course go clockwise if you wish.
The cache is a small plastic pot with room for small swaps or trackables. Difficulty may increase during the summer if nettles grow up around the bridge.
Move on to the next cache, which you will find through the middle of the farmers field, which is a public footpath. The signpost is a bit misleading.
