Sport has been played on the Klemzig Recreation Grounds since 1909.
The then Enfield Council purchased the land from the licensee of the OG Hotel in 1947, and leased it to Klemzig Community, to be managed and developed by volunteers.
Over the years many sporting and recreation facilities were put in place for use by the community.
The City of Port Adelaide and Enfield resumed control in 2000, and recently undertook complete redevelopment of the site.
There is no need to disturb anything on the ground in order to find the cache.
There are entrances to car parks on O G Road and Wellington Street.
