Since the earthquakes Christchurch has been to hell and back, but some cool things are starting to happen in the CBD. Christchurch really is a blank canvas for those brave enough to bring her back. One of the major projects to help rejuvinate the CBD is the development of a riverside park which will follow the Avon the whole way through the CBD. The first 2 stages of this development, called Watermark (completed) and The Terrace (next) can be enjoyed further upstream from the location of this cache. Ground zero is part of the third stage - Victoria.
