Went for a hike up Middle Fork and Geertsen Canyon today, and this is where I turned back. I had planned on going quite a bit further, but I had so much fun talking to other cachers on my hike and hiding some puzzles that this is where I ran out of time. I highly recommend this canyon - it has two good accesses, and it has stunning views of the valley. Bring a couple caches with you - I left some space down the canyon (once you solve the puzzles you'll know where you can drop some) and there's miles of room above. Geertsen to Shupe to Middle Fork is a 12 mile hike, and I hope to be able to make some finds when I come up here next time to do the loop. Come up and enjoy the view!
