This cache is a reprise of the original Glenbrook Ramble #7 Dark's Common cache originally placed by wackydo and eaviate and archived due to neighbour objection, and is part of a series that takes you on a walk through the bush at Glenbrook in the Blue Mountains.
Glenbrook is a small "village" at the start of the Blue Mountains and is a lovely place for a walk and a coffee. The Glenbrook Ramble series is meant for locals and tourists and starts at the train station so that for those without private transport the trail starts as soon as you arrive at Glenbrook. Cache is a small lock and lock container that has room for small swaps and tbs. This simple multi will take you past Glenbrook Ramble #8 from here, but I'd recommend going back onto Emu Road and walking up to the Bluff to do the caches that are there - the views are wonderful. They are TriView 1 Multicache and Metal Meets the Mountains. You can then continue along the track to Glenbrook Ramble #8 Dark's Hollow.
The final waypoint for the cache is a simple calculation taken from the gateway waypoint:
S33° 46.ABB E150° 37.CDC
Where
A = How many zeroes (0) are on the warning sign?
B = How many diagonal bars are on the gate?
C = How many letters are on the second line of the warning sign?
D = How many strands of wire are on the gate post, - 3
PLEASE NOTE: The original Cache #7 was archived due to neighbour objection to night caching disturbance ... it would be preferable that this waypoint be attempted during reasonable daylight hours.
