A very pleasant walk down to Dubrovnik. It is best to catch a bus to the the start of the road at the top as it can be quite a steep walk up (and if you start at the bottom you will have to come all the way back on yourself) This is the seventh cache in the trail. Each cache contains a letter which you will need to collect to find a bonus cache
This was the route into the old city used by all traffic. It was a one way road as you will probably guess when you walk down it. Most of this road is now closed to traffic but it is the nearest road to the sea and has some magnificent views. Down towards the bottom end it joins up with the road from the Hotel Belvedere which was a 5 star hotel until it was destroyed in the war in 1991. From this junction you proceed down to the Ploce Gate passing residential areas and several hotels but still with beautiful views
