Geocache Description:

This tree was built by faithful umps limpas to celebrate the birthday of the King fairy, Christopher Mass, who was extremely tough and brave but remarkably kind in a very manly way. He lived in this tree with a beautiful view. Unfortunately it was a long time ago, so the tree has become a little run down.
In honour of the fact that his birthday was in the winter, he decreed that all school children should have the last two weeks of the year, and the first of the next year, off. And that they should be outside playing, and not inside watching the flipping telly! In his magnificence he also decreed that grown ups should have a couple of days off. He gave this time a special name, but that has been lost over the eons.
The fairy King's birthday parties were legendary. With music, dancing, lady fairies and all sorts of games for grown up fairies. Alas, the grumpy Connetable put a stop to these parties, as he was never invited, being too grumpy.
Sadly, thanks to the grumpy Connetable, the handsome King fairy never got to meet a beautiful lady fairy to become his Queen. And so the noble line of Jersey fairies ended, and all that is left is the King's no longer terribly impressive tree.
