The area of the 'Cuevas Negras' (black caves) resulting from a very old eruption of the Pico Viejo shows you beneath the entrances of the 3 caves, a big black lava field in addition to a big number of huge lava bombs (most of them 'bread crust' bombs). The caves are meanwhile locked by metal fences so you will not be able to enter the caves. However you might for example have a look at the entrance of the cave nearest to the cache and admire the strange lava formations similar to stalaktites. I have never seen anything similar on the island built from lava.

On 'Openstreetmap' you find the path to the cache directly from the recommended parking position. Note also, that the cache is in a protected zone and is placed  DIRECTLY beneath the path, so PLEASE hide it well again. Otherwise any hiker walking the path will encounter it.

La zona alrededor de las 'Cuevas Negras'  resultando de una erupción muy vieja del Pico Viejo te muestra además de las entradas de las 3 cuevas un campo grande de lava negra y una multitud de bombas grandes de lava (la mayoría siendo 'corteza' bombas). Mientrás las cuevas son cerradas con una barranda de hierro. Por eso no puedes entrar en las cuevas. Pero puedas por ejemplo dar un vistazo al la entrada de la cueva la más cercana del cache y admirar las formas curiosas de lava similar a estalactitas. Nunca he visto algo similar en la isla construido de lava.

En 'Openstreetmap' encuentras el camino al cache del aparcamiento recomendado. Nota también, que el cache se encuentra en una zona protegida y por eso es colocado DIRECTAMENTE junto al camino, por eso POR FAVOR escondelo bien. Si no, cada caminante  va a descubrirlo.

Die Gegend der 'Cuevas Negras' (schwarze Höhlen)  resultiert aus einem sehr alten Ausbruch des Pico Viejo und zeigt Dir neben den Eingängen zu den 3 Höhlen ein großes Feld schwarzer Lava mit einer großen Anzahl riesiger Lavabomben (die meisten sogenannte 'Brotkrustenbomben'). Die Höhlen sind mittlerweile durch ein Metallgitter verschlossen, das heißt, daß es nicht möglich ist, die Höhlen zu betreten. Du magst jedoch zum Beispiel den Eingang der dem Cache nächstgelegenen Höhle anschauen und die seltsamen Lavaformationen ähnlich den Stalaktiten ansehen. Ich selbst habe noch nie etwas ähnliches geformt aus Lava auf der Insel gesehen.

Auf 'Openstreetmap' findest Du den Weg zum Cache von der empfohlenen Parkposition aus. Beachte auch, daß der Cache in einer geschützten Zone liegt und deshalb DIREKT neben dem Weg liegt, deshalb verstecke ihn BITTE wieder gut. Andernfalls wird ihn jeder Wandererer entdecken, der den Weg entlang kommt.
