Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Framptastic Voyage!! Sit back, buckle up and prepare for an adventure beyond anything you've ever experienced before!! Okay so perhaps that's a slight exaggeration, but you should definitely still have a great time!

First things first, please obey and respect ALL rules and regulations of this and all other beautiful Wildlife Management Areas. Signs are clearly posted at all the entrances. Also, please wear bright colors during the hunting season. You must also please know the limits of your Cachemobile! These trails can be slightly mean at certain spots, especially after a heavy rainfall. All caches are located just off of the trails that cut throughout this newly acquired WMA. This land was previously owned by a game preserve, and the very first job I ever got paid for was deer-driving. My mom would take me to the hunting lodge nearby around 5 AM and we would have breakfast before heading out to these densely wooded areas. We would all line up along the front side of the drive and walk through the woods screaming “YOOOO BUCK!!” This went on for approximately 10 hours with a break for lunch. At 14 years old, the $60 I received at the end of the day was alright by me! Once I was informed that this land had been purchased by the state of New Jersey for a Wildlife Management Area I was very excited, and these trails are the end result! I literally live 5 minutes away and this trail will be very easy for me to upkeep, so if you experience any difficulties please send me a message and let me know.

So now on to the caches! Just as my previous trails, you will find a variety of different caches ranging in difficulty from easy to moderately difficult. I wanted to make some very easy to keep the trail family friendly to a certain degree, but also wanted to include some harder ones to keep the interest of veteran cachers alike. You never know what you might find on this Framptastic Voyage! Although I warn you, if you run this trail in warm temperatures, you are likely to find plenty of ticks, chiggers, etc., so make sure you come prepared.

While you are out in this area, please take some time to enjoy all the beautiful scenery that surrounds you! And please leave the area the same way (or better) than you found it! Although it is strictly voluntary and not a requirement for caching, I would suggest possibly bringing a garbage bag or two with you and discarding any trash you may find along the way. Let’s keep our state beautiful!

Well that’s enough talking…..let the Framptastic Voyage begin!!!
