"Nate the Acorn" is Pasco County Parks & Recreations' newest celebrity and "spokesnut". He first appeared on the scene October 1st - introduced by Alex Fasano, Parks Supervisor for Pasco County Parks. If you visit the Pasco County Parks & Recreation Facebook page, you can keep up with all the adventures of "Nate the Acorn".
Nate now has a vacation home near the campground in Starkey Park called "Nate's TB Campground". If you have a travel bug who would like to stop here on its travels, Nate would love to have it as a visitor to his campground.
And ... if you're looking for a nice vacation spot yourself, the Starkey Park campground would be a great place to stay. There are cabins, tent camping areas, group tent campsites, and primitive campsites. Visit the Starkey Park camping information website for more information. Or, you can pick up one of the Starkey Park brochures you will find inside "Nate's TB Campground" or at the Park Visitor Kiosk.
