Geocache Description:

Summary

**** This Cache is at the posted co-ordinates, But... ***

You must solve the challenge to claim it as found!

BeesCook completed an impressive unknown streak (around 75) shortly after starting GeoCaching, concentrating almost entirely on puzzles. This got me thinking of a challenge to honor this feat but not limit it to just long puzzle streaks. Enter Sherlock...

Description

Use the trailhead listed to enter the park
and turn right (east) just before the river to proceed to GZ.

There are a multitude of variations on who Sherlock Holmes is, but at its core, the character is a great puzzle solver. A picky puzzle solver. The puzzle must present him with a worthy challenge or he is not interested in it. Which brings me to the challenge...

The Challenge can be satisfied in one of three ways:
1) Brute Force method - Find an "unknown" hide (eg puzzle or challenge) for 70+ days in a row.
2) The Sherlock method - Find 21 puzzles totally a difficulty of 100 or higher. The cache must be either a puzzle or challenge.
3) My newly named "Sako" method - Find 7 puzzles in 7 days in a row (it can be fewer days) totally a difficulty of 33 or higher. Only puzzle caches will qualify.

!! Past streaks and finds qualify for all three methods of meeting this challenge but this challenge itself does not count towards either of the methods. !!

To successfully claim this cache as found, sign the log, meet one of the requirements above then either bookmark the list, email me the list (through my profile) or attach list to the log.

When signing into the log, if undergrowth and tree cover gone, be very wary of backyard muggles that could be watching.

Along with my usual acknowledgements of FTF, FTS and FTL the following other feats will also be acknowledged and updated as I have time:
1) Brute Force Hero - Most consecutive days in an unknown streak
2) Sherlock Sleuth - Highest difficulty total for 21 puzzles
3) Sako Warrior - Highest difficulty total for 7 puzzles in 7 days
4) Sako Professor - First person to deduce why I've called this method "Sako"

The Difficulty is for the challenge itself, the hide is around a 3. Although a nano, I doubt it should be too hard to find.

** Please stick to looking for this cache during the day so flashlights are not seen bouncing around in the woods. Best time of year to sign into this one is Summer!! Although availble year round, you will be very visible from neighboring backyards with-out leaves and undergrowth. **

**************************************
To preserve the caching experience, please replace the hide as found. Coordinates are an average of multiple attempts.

What's with the bracket stuff in the title you may be wondering?
It's simply my personal identifier. The last letter (or sometimes the only letter) refers to the hide itself and choices will be:
Traditional style of hide - typically the hide should be a typical container hidden in a "typical" caching way
Kid friendly hide - child reachable, findable and room for tradeables. Aimed at the little cachers.
and Evil style of hide - Something about it that makes me rub my hands together maniacally in anticipation. Perhaps more unique camo, different hiding technique, lots of options at GZ...

If there is two letters together, the first will refer to the style of cache. Puzzle, Multi, Earth, Letterbox etc.

The number after the dash simply is the number of hides in that series for me. Don't expect this number to get too big.

Congratulations to the following cachers:
FTF (met all requirements): ertyu
FTS (sign the log): ertyu
FTL (log electronically): ertyu

1) Brute Force Hero - BeesCooks 75 day streak
2) Sherlock Sleuth - okeeffek with difficulty total of 102
3) Sako Warrior - Not Claimed
4) Sako Professor - Morea1821 - Sako method named after a small games rifle called the 7x33 Sako. Hence total difficulty of 33 in 7 days.
