Pathfinder Clubs offer a wide range of learning experiences for young people 10 to 18 years of age and is operated by the International Seventh-day Adventist church. There are Pathfinders all over the world. The CO has worked with clubs in Guatemala, Zambia, and several US states.
Activities include community service, camping, crafts, classwork, marching, Bible study, and leadership training. Honors - similar to Merit Badges - are an important part of Pathfindering and require a combination of learning and/or completing activities or projects. There are over 350 different honors available, the first of which were introduced in 1928. An honor patch in Geocaching was introduced in 2005.
June 2024 - The following paragraph about stock items does not currently apply as someone completely cleaned it out and we are here with limited resources at the moment. Hope to be back in area soon with our box of goodies just for this cache.
The original contents (and periodic restock) are items that illustrate a selection of honors. Items are from a variety of countries to represent Clubs around the world. Cache includes international stamps, coins, currency, sand, shells, rocks & minerals. All items are free for the taking without trade in the hope that they will be used to educate others on international culture. Please limit 1-2 items per person.
