The HAWK EYE is a view of the Honde Valley, this view clearly shows what MAN is doing to our Earth, from the amazing dense tropical forest, that cascade down the mountains into the inhabited rural town of Hauna. Can you believe the forest used to cover the entire valley floor?? Watch the raptors glide through the open skies.
The HAWK EYE CACHE is situated on the Mtaradzi Falls Road (sign posted) which turns off the Pungwe Scenic Road, which starts at Rhodes Nyanga Hotel and Main National Park Entrance. The cache is situated 30 meters from the HONDE VIEW car park. Throughout the year you will require a 4x4 or at a minimum a vehicle with diff lock and high clearance, the roads are very rough and are slippery when wet there are some very steep inclinations, caution must be taken at all times. BEWARE OF MUGGLES.
