This can be done as a cache and dash or as part of a circular walk. This byway has lots of footpaths going through local farmland and is a lovely place for a stroll or dog walking. Also in autumn there are lots of sloe, blackberry and, crabapple for the interested geocacher.
Although a nice clear path it can sometimes get overgrown, and the beginning seems to be muddy all year round. The whole path can be quite muddy in winter but at time of setting this cache the byway was in good condition.
This path divides into two to go round a pond, but both parts of path meet up again on the other side of the pond.
