An algalator is a little beastie that protects caches from muggles. They have teeth, but do not bite cachers. They, however, tend to hide in hidey holes.

After descending the slope toward Beech on the River (GC4P3N3), take the trail to the right along the river, not to the left toward Beech...
Please rehide carefully so that this beastie does not have to fight off muggles.
