Geocache Description:

Seeing Steveishere and Aussi Cacher have not put this up, and i have not been able to contact them.

The 6th Annual Hills Geocaching Event

When: Saturday 4th January, 9.30am - 12.00 if hot we move inside

Where: Food Court at the Rouse Hill Town Centre

If everyone can wear a name tag, this year as it is getting hard to remember everyone and helps the newcomers put names to faces.

I will bring some computer labels to stick on if you don't bring one

The coordinates should take you to the south/eastern end of the main food court. Weather permitting the event will be held in the outside section. If it's raining we'll bring it inside.

The food court is fairly quiet at this time of the morning so the event should be easy to find.

This location is friendly to anyone who is disabled.

About the event:

The goal of this event is to:

·         Discuss geocaching Meet many of the geocachers you've seen online or in cache logs

·         Exchange and discover coins and travel bugs...bring as many as you can!

·         Find some newly released geocaches and have a good chance of some first to finds

·         Find some unique and interesting caches in the area. e.g. Wherigo, EarthCache, Letterbox, etc Have fun.....

·         2012 GWS cache log of the year award.

·         Don't forget to grab brunch while you're at the event.

Please mark a "Will attend" if you plan on attending the event. It's also good practice to place the event on your watch list for any updates.

Don’t forget to make an “Attended” log entry afterwards as this counts as a find.

If you are new to Geocaching please come and ask questions.

If you are a veteran please come and share your experiences.

Events are always great place to pick up hints to those difficult caches, enhance your geocaching skills, improve your search techniques, learn from experienced geocachers and make some great new friends.

If anyone would like to place some caches for the event, just go for it.
