Geocache Description:

In 1966 Bruce Brown went on an epic surf journey and created the documentary called "The Endless Summer". In his film he travelled the world trying to chase summer around the globe in search of new surf spots. He discoverd a magnificent point break in St. Francis bay which was forever to be known as Bruces Beauties.

In 1994 a new group of surfers traveled in the footsteps of Bruce Brown and filmed the follow-up movie "The Endless Summer II". The surfers found a very different St. Francis bay with the rolling sand dunes replaced by large thatch holiday homes.

The cache can be found in a local community garden with views of this legendary point break. The cache is close to the two harbors walk which is a lovely walk taking you up/down the point from the old to the new harbor or visa verse depending on were you start.
