Padules Canales está una maravilla escondita, que merita la pena de andando un kilometro a mirarlo.
Este está donde el rio Andarax corta un desfilo muy estrecho entre la rocas de la sierra de Gádor y esas de la sierra nevada. En verano tal vez solo un pocito de agua corre, pero quando las nieves se derreten hay mucho, mucho de agua que corre con mucha fueza y ruido en el desfilo.
Hay una recreativa aquí con mesas de picnic con un vista impresionante del rio.
Para deportistas, es posible a andar el sendero PR A360 siguendo la ruta de agua encima del desfilo al Molino del Rio y la Fuente de los Naranjos.

Padules Canales is a hidden wonder, worth the 1km walk to see it.
This is where the rio Andarax cuts through a gorge between the limestone of the sierra de Gádor and the ancient rocks of the Sierra Nevada. In summer there may be only a trickle of water, but at times of snow-melt there can be a raging torrent roaring through the chasm.
There is a recreativa here, with picnic tables and a great view of the river.
For the fit and healthy, there is an impressive walk along the water route (PR A360) along the top of the gorge as far as the ruined Molino del Rio and on to the Fuente de los Naranjos.
