The cache is placed far enough away from the hitching post that no harm will come to you or the horses, if the post is in use. Please respect the Amish and ask before touching their horse or buggy. This area can be busy, use your skills to act like a normal non-geocacher. BYOP. Have Fun.
There are so many interesting things in this area. "Built in 1927, the bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic places. It is an unusual example of an open spandrel arch bridge, having solid barrels rather than individual arch rings." Those words are from Watsontown's Web page...now my words: "I like the things on the pillars that look like castle towers."
There is a 'boat' for those who get sea sick. A small park is located down river with many places for picnics, walks and play area for the children.
