What you need to do:
1) Download the 4 audio tracks and put on your mobile device. Don't listen to them yet if you don't want spoilers! Be aware that phone internet is ok near the observatory but not so great further up so if you want tracks, or spoiler photos just in case, get them beforehand. If you cannot/do not want to listen while hiking, it is possible to listen to the 4 tracks beforehand as long as you read the spoiler in the "hints" section.
2) Go to the Griffith Observatory (you may need to park further down on the road).
3) Play TRACK 1 ONLY as you head toward the first cache. Inside the first cache there will be written directions on how to proceed. The instructions inside each cache will tell you when to play the other tracks and how to listen for clues in them that give you coordinates.
4) When you get to the 3rd and final cache, feel free to sign the log and enjoy the fantastic view!!
Cache 1 & 3 are in small 'camouflaged' containers (about 4'' across). Cache #2 is in a smaller black container (around the size of a laser pointer)- if you have trouble finding any of them, use the spoiler photos.
The audio files:
Track 1
Track 2
Track 3
Track 4
