その休憩所は「京都一周トレイル 北山４」のポイントにあり、ここからケーブル比叡駅、延暦寺、バスのりばへ向かうことができます。いくつかのベンチがあり、たくさんの人が休憩するのに十分な広さがあります。ぜひここで温かいコーヒーでも飲みながら、ゆったりと里山の風景を愛でてください。この場所の西側は通称「つつじヶ丘」です。春にはヤマツツジが山を彩ります。キャッシュは見つけやすい場所に設置しています。
